The Romanian Tourist Office welcomes all of your comments and suggestions. Below are a few messages that we received from U.S. visitors to Romania:
"…Now I know why my nephew can't wait to return to Romania.
He said the people there were just so wonderful and helpful."
— Barbara Ann Roby, California
“ We recently traveled to Romania. It was a dream trip - we enjoyed it TREMENDOUSLY! Romania is a great country with so much to offer, and we hope to return for another visit some day. We loved the Old-World cities and castles, as well as the villages and countryside of Marmamures, Transylvania and Moldavia. The traditional folk arts (crafts, music and dance) were delightful. We have been devotees of Romanian traditional dance and music for many years, so this was like a trip to Mecca. We were also fortunate to attend some marvelous classical music concerts in Cluj, Targu Mures and Bucharest. Our only regret was not finding any festivals (except the chestnut festival in Baia Mare) where we might have seen more traditional dancing.”

“ We are back from our trip and had a wonderful time! What a fantastic country!
Thank you for all your help. We went to Bucharest, Snagov, Sinaia, Risnov, Bran, Poina Brasov, Brasov, Sighisoara, the Saxon fortified church area, Sibiu, Cisnadie, Cisniadoara, Fagaras mountains, then finished with 3 days in the Delta Danube. We'll have to go back as we only saw a small portion of the country
in 2 weeks. Thanks for your help.”
— David R. Leadbetter, Virginia

" Because of friends and experiences I love Romania.
I just wanted to write and say what a great time I had in Romania this
past summer.
I'm someone that had e-mailed you about auto, roads and train schedules.
From the past five summers of travel to Romania I have seen lots of
improvements for travelers. The roads that I went on this summer
from Brasov to Sighisoara, Tirgu Mures, Bistrita, Campulung Moldovensc,
Suceava and down via Roman, Bacau and back to Brasov were being widened
and were smooth. I found clean bathrooms with toilet paper in other places
besides McDonalds (please don't be insulted by that comment). There are so
many interesting sights to see in Romania, the northern area where the
mountains were so pretty. I always love to tell people about your
beautiful country and I feel like a Romania
tourist agent when I do that."
— Sandy Stowe, New Jersey
" What a nice country of yours! It has been a real pleasure to discover Romania, and I have seen only a part of it. Romanians are quite nice and warm people, and the nature was just spectacular with all the colorful leaves and snow on the top of the mountains.
I came back only last night, and I am already nostalgic about what I saw. My favorites where Sighisoara, Brasov and Snagov (I had the time for a quick drop Sunday)."
— Mario Fontaine, Montreal - Canada
