This 4 night tour will take you into Transylvania, the Heart of Romania.
On route you will visit sights such as "Dracula's Castle"(Bran Castle), Sinaia Monastery (1695) and the fabulous Peles Castle - former summer residence of the Royal family, also you will visit Brasov, Sighisoara and the Borgo pass.

Day 1 - 28 Oct Saturday
Arrive in Bucharest, capital of Romania, first mentioned by this name in a document signed by Prince Vlad Dracula himself, and dated 20th of September 1459. Your (motor)coach will take you into the Carpathian Mountains bordering Transylvania. Get your blessings at the Sinaia Monastery, before all begins.

Day 2 - 29 Oct Sunday
A morning visit of the royal summer residence Peles Palace is a treat. Cross the Carpathian Mountains into "the land beyond the forest". You are in Transylvania. On the way to the Dracula Castle, in Bran village, observe the construction of the older houses, notice the mysterious gates. While passing through Brasov, listen to legends of the Dracula defiant merchants and of their faith. You'll arrive in the fortified town of Sighisoara, birthplace of Dracula, just in time for dinner.

Day 3 - 30 Oct Monday
After breakfast climb the centuries-old steps to the top of the Clock Tower, where you'll have a panoramic view of the best preserved medieval towns in all Europe. At the Square History Museum, you'll hear frightening tales about punishments at the stake and in the Torture Room you can view the actual instruments on display.

Day 4 - 31 Oct Tuesday
A walk in the Sighisoara's century old cemetery provides a perfect setting for spending Halloween Day in Transylvania! Spend the day at leisure haunting for His coffin. For your protection, quit before dusk. Party under the night's veil in the disguise of your choice! When nighttime falls, you are cordially invited to the medieval dungeon for the Halloween Masquerade Party.

Day 5 - 1 November Wednesday
During your scenic drive through the Transylvanian highland, your guide will spin tales of the distant past. Step back in time, and imagine having been present when, on various instances, Prince Vlad dropped by your next destination - Hunedoara Castle. Before settling down for the night, you'll also tour the Glass Icons Museum, in Sibiel Village. Here, you'll experience a taste of traditional Romanian home cooking, as you dine with the locals.

Day 6 - 2 November Thursday
Be sure to eat a hearty breakfast, as today you will climb the steps of the Poienari Fortress. Now in ruins, the fortress was the site where Vlad condemned the traitor landlords and worked to their deaths. But before crossing back into Walachia, take in many splendid sites along your walking tour of Sibiu. During your scenic ride back to Walachia, you'll visit Cozia Monastery, the resting place of Mircea the Elder, Vlad's grandfather. The day's activities conclude with dinner and an overnight stay in the first Walachian capital, Curtea de Arges.

Day 7 - 3 November Friday
Enjoy the morning tour of the Princely Court in Targoviste, from where prince Dracula forcefully ruled.
You'll tour the city of Bucharest, including a stop at the Village Museum. A late afternoon boat trip takes you to Snagov Island, for a visit to the alleged grave of D's
You'll put the finishing touch on your Transylvanian adventure with a traditional Romanian dinner.

Day 8 - 4 November Saturday
Spend the last day in Bucharest antique shopping or in an art gallery. The side walk café-s can provide for a remarkable experience.
